2024 PAWS Walk and Fun Festival!

Registration begins 8:00am, Three-mile walk starts at 9:00am; one-mile walk starts at 9:30am.  Dogs must be current on vaccinations.  No flexi-leads, please.

Welcome to the Sauk County Humane Society's PAWS Walk and Fun Festival site! Here you can register for the walk, start or join a team, set a goal, and donate to the event and our work on behalf of animals and your neighbors in Sauk County. You can also search for other participants and donate toward their goals. So, leash up Fido, and join us for a fun-filled day while helping animals in need! 

We are excited to announce that this year, Tim Elliott, co-host of NBC15’s The Morning Show, will again lead the three-mile walk with his dog, Dempsey.

 Owner-accompanied dogs and dog-free humans of all ages may collect pledges, and the top three fundraisers will receive wonderful prizes. 

***Paws Walk is the Humane Society's biggest fundraiser of the year, and is more than "just" a walk.  It is a fun family event for young and old.  This year we're featuring dog agility, the law enforcement K-9 unit demonstrations, reptile demos courtesy of the Madison Area Herpetology Society, a microchip clinic, music (provided by DJ Mike Burroughs), demonstrations, vendors, and much much more!***

If you would rather register and/or collect pledges using a paper form, PAWS brochures will be available at the Shelter and at many Sauk County businesses after March 26th.  Pledges are due at the time of registration on Saturday May 4th.

TO REGISTER A TEAM: please click on the "Register" link and then "Join a Team" and follow the instructions.

TO JOIN A TEAM: please "Register" as an individual walker and then click "Join a Team" and follow the instructions.

TO SIGN UP AS A WALKER OR TEAM:

1. Click on the "Find a Team/Participant" link at left. 
2. Search for the individual or team. 
3. Select "Sponsor Me" on the right under the thermometer 
4. Fill in your information.
5. In the "Donation Information" Section, select "Other" and fill in the desired sponsorship amoun

TO SIGN UP AS A VENDOR:

1. Click on the "Make a Donation" link at left.
2. Choose "Donate without sponsoring a team or individual."
3. In the "Donation Information" Section, select the desired vendor amount.

TO MAKE A GENERAL PAWS DONATION:

1. Click on the "Make a Donation" link at left.
2. Choose "Donate without sponsoring a team or individual."
3. In the "Donation Information" Section, select "Other" and fill in the desired donation amount.
